Hellooooo!!! It’s Sarah, Nate and our blended family of 10 kiddos here, and that’s why we call it Rjungle. In the beginning, our lives were ridiculously chaotic, because, like I tell my kiddos, even if you moved in with your FAVORITE cousins, you would still hate them in a month. 😉

Nowadays, though, it’s just crazy. Crazy busy, crazy big, crazy loud, crazy fun, with tons of crazy love.

Together we have the ten kiddos living in our home, ages 19 (boy), 16 (girl), 14 (boy), 13 (boy), 11 (boy), 9 & 9 (boys), 6 & 6 (boys) and 3 (girl).

I make two giant meals a day, pack 8 lunches every night for the next school day, bake 10 loaves of bread a week, and just learned how to make tortillas (we go through about 100 of those guys a week!). And bananas….I think we would benefit from a banana orchard in our backyard. But with that come hundreds of hugs, thousands of sticky kisses, countless stories, and joy. Endless amounts of joy.

 

 

Nate and I met through mutual friends and family after our exes left us, and it was one of those moments in my life that I knew was significant.

 

We both love to be outdoors, we like *some* of the same music, we disagree on topics that we can discuss openly with each other, we love to garden, we (obviously) love kids, and seriously, I’ve never understood love songs or had empathy for people in sappy love stories until I met this man. He’s my most favorite human on the planet and I’m so glad I get to spend these last busy, crazy, memorable days with him.
